About me
I’m Laura, I’m from Melbourne, Australia, but I grew up bilingual, because my mother is Italian. Being half Italian and speaking Italian made it easy for me to learn French at school. At university I double-majored in these two languages: French and Italian; language and literature. After finishing university, I moved to Italy where I taught English, completed my CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and consolidated my Italian during the four years I spent living there. After my time in Italy, I moved to Spain where I continued to teach languages. My three years living in Spain allowed me to learn and teach Spanish too. Since moving to the UK, I have been teaching English, French, Italian and Spanish to a range of students from young adults to adults in language schools, online and from my own home in Bristol.
